Prior to becoming principal at St. Clare School, Mrs. Mantecon was vice principal and 8th grade homeroom teacher and religion coordinator and campus minister at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception School in Los Gatos for three years. Between July 2011-June 2015, she served as Education Services Coordinator and Accreditation Commissioner at the Department of Education (now Department of Catholic Schools) in the Diocese of San Jose. Prior to that, she taught and served on the administrative team at St. Mary of the Assumption School in Gilroy for twelve years. Mrs. Mantecon has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Economics, having worked for a higher education publisher where she implemented the deployment of technology systems; and an advertising agency where she was Traffic Manager before acquiring her Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Santa Clara University. Her most valued accomplishments include being a part of a loving marriage and raising two amazing humans. Mrs. Mantecon is excited and honored to be working with a dedicated group of educators and committed families whose primary goal is to form the hearts and minds of precious little humans.
