Mrs. Vallarta previously taught Kindergarten and second grade at a sister Drexel school from 2014-2016 before its closure in 2017. While at St. Clare’s she has been the second grade teacher and level coordinator for the primary grades. Preparing her students to receive the Sacraments is what she loves most about being a Catholic educator. She attended San Francisco State University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Teacher Preparation. Mrs. Vallarta received her Master’s Degree in Teaching from Santa Clara University while also getting her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. As a family-oriented and faith-filled individual, she loves attending Mass with her family. Mrs. Vallarta comes from a big family who loves getting together for any occasion, big or small. She and her family live in San Jose and belong to St. Francis of Assisi parish. Mrs. Vallarta is committed to serving her vocation as a Catholic educator and it is her passion to teach young minds to love God and to walk alongside her students on their journey of faith.
