After-School Clubs & Co-Curricular Activities

Saint Clare School offers the Cool Kids Zone (CKZ), an after-school program that provides supervised care for students of all grades.
Your child will have an experience that is rewarding, beneficial and fun with an entire year of creative learning and fun activities!
Theme-based lesson plans offer a variety of activities for both small and large groups, which include arts & crafts, sports, and homework tutoring.
Staff
Our staff are committed and responsible. Their extensive training ensures safe and healthy experiences for all students. All staff are CPR and First Aid Certified, and will supervise activities for all grades.
Fees
Fees vary depending on the amount of care needed and the number of children in the family needing care. We offer full-time rates for before and/or after school care as well as hourly rates for families desiring only drop-in care.
Hours of Operation
Before-school care is available each school day starting at 7:30am and after-school care begins at school dismissal and ends at 5:45pm.

Our Athletics Program is an amazing way for students to make new friends, learn teamworks and leadership, and stay active!
Students may join a school sports team starting in 5th Grade.
The following sports will be available for the 2026-2027 school year:
Fall 1: Boys Volleyball / Girls Volleyball
Fall 2: Boys Soccer / Girls Soccer
Winter: Boys Basketball / Girls Basketball
Spring: Boys Flag Football / Girls Flag Football
May: Girls & Boys Track Meet

Our school robotics team, the Code Crackers is available to join for 7th and 8th graders.
These students raise funds throughout the year to be able to create the hardware and software necessary for building competitive robots.
They compete in several challenges, with the most notable being The Tech Challenge-which they won last year!

Our Art Program is provided to Kindergarten through 5th Grade students by Hidden Talent Art, a San Jose-based organization that provides art classes to various schools around the Bay Area.
Hidden Talent Art also provides an after-school art program for Kindergarten through 5th Grade students.
Both classes teach the basics of drawing, sketching, watercolor painting, and various other mediums-with the after-school program providing more projects and more mediums.

Our Band Program is provided by M.U.S.E., an organization that provides after-school music programs across California and Oregon.
Students are provided an array of wind and brass instruments to learn, and take part in in a final concert performance at the end of their program.
4th Grade through 8th Grade students are invited to join either the beginner or intermediate session.

Our Chess Wizards chess program is available to students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Student groups are formed based on skill level, with classes focused on the basics for beginner students and competitive strategy for intermediate and/or advanced students.
